US Dollar Peaks at 15-Week High Against Japanese Yen

Tokyo: The dollar reached its highest level in 15 weeks against the yen today, following the release of US data showing that consumer prices rose in June at the fastest pace in five months.

According to Qatar News Agency, in the latest trading, the euro fell 0.51% to $1.1603, marking its lowest level since June 25. Against the Japanese currency, the dollar rose 0.77% to 148.84 yen, its highest level since April 3.
