Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed ElKhereiji received at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh today, the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Tharaka Balasuriya.
During the meeting, the ministers reviewed the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and ways to boost them in all fields.
They also discussed developments in the regional and international arenas.
Saudi and Sri Lankan ministers signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) about political consultations between the two countries’ governments.
The two events were attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Sri Lanka Khalid bin Hmoud Al-Qahtani, and the Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Kingdom, Pakeer Amza.
