World Government Summit 2025 Commences in Dubai with Focus on Future Governance


Dubai: The World Government Summit 2025 commenced Tuesday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under the theme “Shaping Future Governments.” The three-day event gathers heads of state, representatives from over 80 international and regional organizations, and global institutions, alongside an esteemed group of thought leaders and experts worldwide.



According to Qatar News Agency, the summit’s first day includes multiple key sessions that delve into future trends in governance and essential sectors. These sessions explore themes such as “The Next Economic Revolution: An African Perspective,” “Governments in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” and “Can We Innovate a More Connected World?” Additionally, the summit features specialized forums like the “Government Experience Exchange Forum,” “Government Services Forum,” and “Future of Mobility Forum,” which serve as platforms for knowledge sharing and collaboration.



The comprehensive agenda comprises 200 keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions led by global leaders, policymakers, and visionaries. Twenty-one world forums also occur during the summit, focusing on developing future strategies across crucial sectors, in collaboration with leading international organizations and significant tech institutions.



The summit’s discussions revolve around six key pillars: effective governance and accountability, the global economy and future finance, urban resilience and crisis response, climate change, the future of humanity and skill development, and global health transformations.
