16 Palestinians Martyred in Israeli Airstrikes Across Gaza Strip

Gaza City: Sixteen Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported Sunday that ten Palestinians, including eight children, were killed and several others injured when Israeli aircraft struck a group of civilians on Al-Nakheel Street in the Shaaf area of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, northeast of Gaza City. Rescue teams and paramedics transported the bodies of the deceased and the injured to the Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in the city center, the sources confirmed.

In central Gaza, three Palestinians were killed in Israeli artillery shelling on Abu Al-Ajeen area, east of Deir Al-Balah. The death toll rose to five after an Israeli strike targeted a residential house in the city center. Several citizens were injured in Israeli shelling on a group of people in Al-Zawaida town, central Gaza Strip.

The number of casualties from Israeli airstrikes on Izbat Abd Rabbo, north of Gaza Strip, increased from two to four, including three members of the same family. The Israeli occupation military continues demolition operations in northern and western Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, and intensifies artillery shelling on eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City, particularly Al-Shuja'iyya, where ground operations are underway. The military has expanded its demolition and shelling of residential homes in the area.

Since Oct. 7, 2023, the death toll from Israeli attacks on Gaza has risen to 50,695, with 115,338 injured.
