2 Killed, 11 Injured in Market Blast in Southwestern Pakistan

Qila Abdullah: Two people were killed and 11 others were injured in an explosion that rocked a market in Balochistan's Qila Abdullah district in southwestern Pakistan.

According to Qatar News Agency, the initial investigation revealed that the explosives were planted in a vehicle, as stated by Deputy Commissioner Qila Abdullah, Riyaz Khan.

Pakistan has witnessed a significant surge in attacks in recent months, particularly in the provinces of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This increase in violence comes as Pakistani forces continue their long-standing efforts to eliminate armed groups entrenched in mountainous areas that occasionally launch attacks against security personnel and civilians.
