Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women, sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Shaikha Mai bint Suleiman Al-Otaibi, the Chairperson of Bahrain Bayan School and Deputy Chairperson of Bahrain Institute for Political Development, on granting her the Arab Woman of the Year Award 2023 by the London Arabia Organisation.

HRH Princess Sabeeka commended the remarkable role of Dr. Shaikha Mai and her enormous contributions to the educational sector. She stressed that the honour is an additional achievement brought about by Bahraini women in various areas, wishing Dr. Shaikha Mai further success.

Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al zayani today held a meting with Brunei Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Dato Seri Setia Haji on the sidelines of the OIC Foreign Ministers’ meeting.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Brunei Darussalam across all fields. Issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (Nogaholding), His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received Board Chairman of the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed, and members. The meeting was attended by Minister of Oil Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina.

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the efforts of the company’s Board of Directors to promote the company’s development. He stressed Nogaholding’s keenness to support the companies affiliated with it to achieve future visions. He was briefed about the company’s future development plans and initiatives to support the national economy and promote the oil and gas sector in accordance with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

The GPIC Chairman expressed thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his continuous support and keenness on the continuous implementation of the company’s development plans.
