An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale hit on Thursday the province of Salta in Argentina. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said in a statement that the earthquake occurred 91 km from San Antonio de los Cobres town, at a depth of 194.5 km. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far. In September, an earthquake measuring 5.0 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the province of Cordoba in Argentina. No casualties or material damage reported. Source: Qatar News Agency
