Doha: A 5.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Tebessa province in eastern Algeria on Sunday. The epicenter was located 10 kilometers southeast of Negrine in Tebessa province, the Algerian News Agency reported, citing the Algerian Centre for Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Geophysics.
According to Qatar News Agency, there have been no reports of human casualties or material damage following the tremor. The authorities are monitoring the situation closely to assess any potential risks or aftershocks that might occur in the affected region.
