Doha: The Generation Amazing Foundation announced Monday that it will host Club Deportivo Palestino in Doha in December as part of the Qatar-Chile 2025 Year of Culture.

According to Qatar News Agency, this visit reflects the foundation's commitment to using football as a platform for cultural understanding, social inclusion, and community empowerment, while strengthening sporting and cultural relations between Qatar and Chile. It also highlights the role of football in uniting displaced communities and the diaspora.

Activities planned during the visit include friendly matches, in cooperation with the Qatar Stars League, participation in football workshops led by Palestinian coaches involved in Generation Amazing programs, visits to schools participating in "Football for Development" activities, visits to museums and cultural landmarks in Doha, and attendance at a screening of the documentary series "Chasing Dreams," which follows the journeys of young Syrian refugees in Brazil as they pursue their football dreams.

HE Advisor for Latin American Affairs for the Year of Culture Mohammed bin Jassim Al Kuwari, stated that the Qatar-Chile 2025 Year of Culture program focuses on building bridges between peoples, emphasizing that sport is one of the most powerful means to achieve this. Hosting Club Deportivo Palestino in Doha inspires youth, celebrates diversity, and underscores the deep ties between Qatar, Chile, and Palestine.

Executive Director of Generation Amazing Nasser Al Khori added that Generation Amazing was born from the conviction that football is a powerful catalyst for peacebuilding, inclusion, and global communication. "By welcoming Deportivo Palestino to Doha, we are not only celebrating its Palestinian heritage and Chilean identity, but also opening new horizons for youth and communities in Qatar to experience the power of cultural exchange."
