Hainan: China sent a new batch of internet satellites into orbit on Sunday. The satellites were launched from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Center in Hainan Island Province, southern China, Xinhua News Agency reported. According to Qatar News Agency, the satellites are part of the 24th group of low-orbit internet satellites. They were successfully lifted off aboard a Long March-12 carrier rocket at 12:10 p.m. (Beijing Time) and entered their preset orbits successfully.
