Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Gaza Rises to 54,927

Gaza: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 54,927 martyrs, in addition to 126,615 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 41 martyrs and 388 wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of the continued Israeli attacks against civilians in the Strip. A number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulances and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

The sources noted that the death toll and injuries since the occupation army resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip and violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18 have reached 4,649 martyrs and 14,574 wounded.

Local sources further highlighted that the total number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals from aid distribution points reached 127 martyrs and more than 1,287 injured.

The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is becoming increasingly complex due to the Israeli occupation’s actions in preventing the entry of humanitarian aid to the population, and the continued bombing of all areas, including remaining medical and service facilities, as well as the tents of displaced people.
