Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Gaza Rises to 65,419

Gaza city: The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 65,419 martyrs, in addition to 167,160 wounded.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Wednesday that hospitals in the Strip received 37 martyrs, four of whom were recovered from under the rubble, and 175 injured in the past 24 hours.

The ministry highlighted that since the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18th, the recorded death toll and injuries have reached 12,823 martyrs and 54,944 wounded. Additionally, the number of aid victims in the past 24 hours includes 5 martyrs and 20 wounded, bringing the total number of aid victims who arrived at hospitals to 2,531, with the number of injuries reaching 18,531.

The death toll from Israel's comprehensive aggression on the Gaza Strip remains provisional, due to thousands more victims being trapped under the rubble. Ambulance and civil defense crews face challenges reaching them because of inadequate equipment and the targeting of relief operations by occupation forces, contributing to a catastrophic humanitarian situation that has escalated to the level of famine.
