Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 6:00 am on Friday will be slightly dusty at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will see slightly dusty at times with some clouds, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea at first.
According to Qatar News Agency, winds inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 to 16 knots, gusting to 26 knots at places initially. Offshore, winds will be northwesterly at a speed of 15 to 25 knots at first, then becoming northwesterly to northeasterly at 5 to 15 knots later in the night.
The sea state inshore will initially be 2 to 4 feet, decreasing to 1 to 2 feet later, while offshore conditions will be 4 to 8 feet at first, falling to 2 to 4 feet later. Visibility both inshore and offshore is expected to range from 4 to 10 kilometers.
