Doha: Weather, inshore, until 6:00 am on Friday will be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain at first becomes hazy to misty at places by late night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will see scattered clouds and be partly cloudy with a chance of scattered rain that may be thundery at times in the north, the report added, warning of thundery rain associated with strong wind and high sea in the north.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be variable, mainly northwesterly to northeasterly, at a speed of 03 to 12 knots gusting to 25 knots with thundery rain. Offshore, it will be variable, mainly southeasterly to southwesterly, at a speed of 03 to 12 knots gusting to 25 knots with thundery rain. The sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet surging to 5 feet with thundery rain, while offshore will be 1 to 3 feet surging to 8 feet with thundery rain. Visibility inshore will be 04 to 09 kilometers or 03 kilometers or less at places by late night. Offshore will also be 05 to 09 kilometers or 03 kilometers or less with thundery rain.
Predicted temperatures for various locations include Doha with a range from 22 to 30 degrees, Mesaieed from 18 to 29 degrees, Wakrah from 20 to 29 degrees, Al Khor from 20 to 29 degrees, Ruwais from 22 to 28 degrees, Dukhan from 18 to 28 degrees, and Abu Samra from 15 to 29 degrees.
