Dozens of Settlers Storm Al Aqsa Mosque Under Police Protection

Jerusalem: Dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque on Thursday under the protection of the Israeli occupation police. Sources in Jerusalem said that groups of settlers entered Al Aqsa Mosque in the morning through the Mughrabi Gate, accompanied by the occupation police, and conducted tours in the mosque's courtyards where they performed public Talmudic rituals.

According to Qatar News Agency, settler groups continue their daily incursions into Al Aqsa Mosque, except on Fridays and Saturdays, during two periods, morning and evening. These actions are part of ongoing attempts to impose a temporal and spatial division of the mosque.

The year 2025 concluded in Jerusalem with a significant escalation in Israeli occupation violations impacting both individuals and places. December was particularly severe, marked by numerous demolition operations and frequent attacks on Al Aqsa Mosque and the local residents of Jerusalem.
