Doha: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati discussed Sunday with his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot, the latest regional developments and ways to foster bilateral relations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deliberations over the phone addressed efforts to consolidate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip with all its provisions and phases, and the facilitation of humanitarian aid access.
The two sides also tackled Egypt’s comprehensive plan for early recovery and reconstruction without transferring Palestinians. Abdel Aati emphasized Arab support for his country’s endeavors, voicing hopes that the international community and the EU, including France, would back Egypt’s efforts in this regard.
