Gaza: The number of confirmed martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 69,756, mostly women and children, since the start of the Israeli assault on Oct. 7, 2023, according to medical sources.
According to Qatar News Agency, the injured count stands at 170,946, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble out of reach for rescue teams. Over the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza received 23 new fatalities and 83 wounded. Despite the scale of destruction, medical and rescue crews continue to face serious challenges in reaching all areas, particularly where buildings have collapsed.
Since the ceasefire deal of 11 October, the reported increase is 339 more martyrs and 871 new injured, with 574 bodies retrieved. The figures highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the heavy toll on the civilian population.
