Manama: The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has issued a strong condemnation of the Iranian regime's actions, highlighting its repeated terrorist acts against vital infrastructure and civilian facilities in the region. The GCC stressed that these actions demonstrate an intent to destabilise regional security and undermine peace efforts.
According to Qatar News Agency, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi expressed his denunciation of the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait and Bahrain. He described these acts as dangerous and irresponsible, labeling them a blatant violation of international laws and norms and a direct threat to regional stability.
Albudaiwi emphasized the inseparable nature of the security of Kuwait and Bahrain in relation to the security of all GCC nations. He affirmed that the member countries of the GCC stand united and steadfast in their support for Kuwait and Bahrain, backing all measures they undertake to protect their security, maintain their sovereignty and territorial integrity, and ensure the safety of their populations.
