Doha: Gold prices in the Qatari market rose by 2.55 percent during the current week, reaching $4,440.50 per ounce on Thursday, according to data released by Qatar National Bank.
According to Qatar News Agency, the bank's data showed that the price of gold per ounce increased from $4,329.89 its level last Sunday.
At the same time, prices of other precious metals also rose on a weekly basis. Silver prices increased by 7.50 percent to $78.07220 per ounce, compared to $72.62 at the beginning of the week, while platinum prices rose by 6.30 percent to reach $2,288.07750 per ounce, up from $2,152.38280 last Sunday.
