Qatar: Qatar Chamber (QC) and the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants (QCPA) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Chamber's headquarters. The MoU is designed to bolster cooperation in initiatives that support company members, entrepreneurs, SME owners, and other community members who benefit from the services provided.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was signed by HE QCPA Chairman Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al Dhabet Al Dosari and Acting General Manager of the Qatar Chamber Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansori. The MoU outlines cooperation that includes training and advisory services provided by the Association, such as certified tax specialist courses, specialized professional diploma programs, and training workshops aimed at enhancing the skills and efficiency of targeted groups.
HE Dr. Sultan Al Dosari expressed his satisfaction with the signing of the MoU, highlighting that it aligns with the Association's mission to strengthen professional and scientific cooperation with state institutions and relevant entities. He emphasized the QCPA's role in developing the accounting and auditing profession in Qatar through specialized activities and increased local and international engagement.
Ali Bu Sherbak Al Mansori stated that the MoU aims to enhance cooperation with the Association in training-related fields, thereby contributing to the improvement of workforce efficiency within the private sector. He also mentioned that the Chamber will provide training facilities for joint programs approved by both parties and will collaborate in implementing projects and programs of mutual interest.
