HH the Amir Arrives in DR Congo for State Visit

Kinshasa: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived in the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa, marking the beginning of a state visit to the friendly nation.

According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir was greeted at N'djili International Airport by the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Felix Tshisekedi. The welcoming delegation also included several high-ranking Congolese officials such as the President of the Senate, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, and the President of the National Assembly, Aime Boji Sangara.

In addition to these prominent figures, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophonie, Therese Kayikwamba Wagner, was present at the airport to welcome HH the Amir. Other notable attendees included the Governor of Kinshasa, Daniel Bumba Lubaki, and the Commander of the 14th military region, Major-General Kizimu Mbuyu Stasin.

The delegation from the Congolese government also featured Valerie Lusamba Kabeya, the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo to the State of Qatar, along with several ranking officials and members of the Qatari Embassy. HH the Amir received an official reception ceremony upon his arrival.
