Doha: HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani received, in his office at the Amiri Diwan, the credentials of eight new ambassadors to the State of Qatar. This significant diplomatic event took place on Wednesday morning.
According to Qatar News Agency, the new ambassadors include HE Ambassador of the Republic of Finland Juha Mustonen, HE Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq Mohammed Jaafar Mohammed Baqir Al Sadr, HE Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Walid Fahmy Ali Al Faqi, HE Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Oliver Owcza, HE Ambassador of the French Republic Arnaud Pescheux, HE Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan Badreddine Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed, HE Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho Manthabiseng Phohleli, and HE Ambassador of the Solomon Islands Cornelius Walegerea.
HH the Deputy Amir extended a warm welcome to the ambassadors, expressing wishes for their success in their new roles. He also expressed hopes for the further development and growth of bilateral relations between Qatar and the respective countries.
The ambassadors conveyed the greetings of their respective countries' leaders to HH the Amir and HH the Deputy Amir, along with wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Qatar. Upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan, the ambassadors were honored with official reception ceremonies.
