Doha: Iraq’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, discussed in a phone conversation on Monday with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, developments in the region and the challenges faced by the Arab nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, Iraq’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that both sides underscored the importance of joint coordination to address the current challenges, stressing the need for stepping up diplomatic efforts to resolve crises in a way that serves the interests of Arab peoples and reinforces the joint Arab cooperation.
