Tulkarm: The Israeli occupation forces have continued their operations in the city of Tulkarm for the 29th consecutive day, extending their activities to the Nur Shams camp for the 16th day. These operations have been marked by the deployment of military reinforcements, demolition of homes, and targeting of infrastructure.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli forces have increased their military presence in the city and its surrounding camps, deploying infantry soldiers across streets and neighborhoods. The forces have been conducting raids on Palestinian homes, causing damage and destruction within, and even converting some residences into temporary military outposts.
The camps of Tulkarm and Nur Shams remain under a strict siege, with movement in and out severely restricted. This has hindered the efforts of relief crews attempting to deliver essential supplies like food, water, medicine, and baby milk to residents. The blockade has led to daily calls for the provision of these basic necessities to those trapped within the camps.
Additionally, the Israeli military has bolstered its presence with heavy machinery and bulldozers along the Nablus Road, a key route connecting Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps. This increased military activity has resulted in frequent vehicle inspections and passenger interrogations, further complicating the situation for residents and often leading to reports of abuse.
