Doha: The unemployment rate in Jordan decreased last year by 0.6 percentage points compared to 2023, recording 21.4 percent. According to the annual unemployment rate report issued by the Jordanian Department of Statistics today, the unemployment rate among males reached 18.2 percent during 2024, compared to 32.9 percent for females.
According to Qatar News Agency, comparing the unemployment rate for males and females for 2024 with the previous year, the unemployment rate for males decreased by 1.4 percentage points, while it increased for females by 2.2 percentage points.
