Manama, Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Vice-Chairman of the High Urban Planning Committee, met with Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning and Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat, CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority.

The Vice Chairman emphasised the importance of continuing to advance urban development in the kingdom, in line with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The minister praised the efforts of the High Urban Planning Committee, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which contribute to developing the level of urban planning in Bahrain and ensuring the sustainability of urban development.

The meeting discussed the committee’s existing projects, the developments in implementing the general policy for planning and sustainable urban development in the Kingdom, and the priorities rel
ated to the national strategic structural plan for Bahrain.
