Doha: Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading with the All Share Index rising by 29.35 points, or 0.37%, to end at 7,905.91 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 197.4 million shares were traded in 14,638 transactions, valued at KWD 58.7 million (roughly $180.7 million). The Main Market Index experienced a drop of 5.87 points, or 0.08%, closing at 7,213.53 points, with 100.5 million shares traded in 6,856 transactions valued at KWD 16.3 million (roughly $50.2 million).
The Premier Market Index saw an increase of 39.70 points, reaching 8,469.51, up by 0.47%. This was achieved through the trading of 96.8 million shares via 7,782 transactions, with a total value of KWD 42.3 million (roughly $130.2 million). Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index gained 51.76 points to reach 7,056.46 points, marking an increase of 0.74%. This was accomplished through a stock volume of 87.12 million shares conducted in 5,963 deals, valued at KWD 15.12 million (roughly $46.5 million).
