Kuwait Bourse Gains as All Share Index Rises

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index gained 18.56 points to reach 8,399.35 points, an increase of 0.22 percent. As many as 503.7 million shares valued at KWD 88.25 million (roughly USD 291 million) were traded via 25,537 transactions.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went down by 20.65 points to reach 7,203.64 points, a decrease of 0.29 percent. This was achieved through 343.9 million shares done via 16,401 transactions valued at KWD 39 million (roughly USD 128.7 million).

The Premier Market Index experienced an upward movement, climbing by 29.27 points to reach 9,112.74, up by 0.32 percent. This was accomplished through 159.8 million shares done via 9,136 transactions valued at KWD 49.16 million (roughly USD 160 million).

Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index saw a minor decline, losing 3.55 points to reach 7,284.21 points, a decrease of 0.05 percent. This occurred through a stock volume of 273.14 million shares done in 10,287 deals at a value of KWD 29 million (roughly USD 96 million).
