Kuwait Bourse Sees Gains in All Share and Premier Market Indices


Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index gaining 25.48 points to reach 8067.36 points, marking an increase of 0.32 percent.



According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 513 million shares valued at KWD 219.10 million (approximately USD 674.8 million) were traded across 21,921 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 8.66 points, reaching 7510.49 points, a decrease of 0.12 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 363 million shares in 10,032 transactions, with a total value of KWD 158.3 million (roughly USD 487.5 million).



The Premier Market Index registered an increase of 35.36 points, reaching a level of 8604.68, up by 0.41 percent. This was facilitated by the exchange of 149.9 million shares in 11,889 transactions, valued at KWD 60.7 million (around USD 186.9 million).



Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index gained 95.41 points to reach 7437.20 points, representing an increase of 1.30 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 338.7 million shares conducted in 8,675 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 155.8 million (approximately USD 479.8 million).
