Kuwait Condemns Iranian Attack against Turkiye, Azerbaijan

Kuwait city: Kuwait expressed on Thursday its condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attack against both Turkiye and Azerbaijan. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the two attempts represent a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations (UN) charter, affirming Kuwait's solidarity with both countries and support in all procedures made to safeguard its sovereignty, security and stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry highlighted the importance of adhering to international norms and urged for restraint to prevent further escalation in the region. The Ministry reiterated Kuwait's commitment to regional stability and peaceful resolution of conflicts.

Kuwait's statement comes amid growing tensions in the region, emphasizing the need for diplomatic engagement and dialogue. The support for Turkiye and Azerbaijan reflects Kuwait's stance on maintaining international law and protecting national sovereignty.
