Doha: Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam condemned the Houthi drone attack targeting Makkah Al Mukarramah, saying it is a blatant disregard for the holy city's sanctity and its status among Muslims worldwide. In a statement on Wednesday, Salam stressed that such actions threaten Saudi Arabia's security and sovereignty while destabilizing the entire region.

According to Qatar News Agency, Salam affirmed Lebanon's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in confronting any aggression targeting its security, sovereignty, and residents. The Lebanese leader's remarks underscore the broader political implications of the attack, emphasizing the need for regional cooperation in maintaining stability and security.
