Lebanon: Lebanon has reported that the number of people killed in Israeli airstrikes has risen to 2,618, according to the Ministry of Public Health's Emergency Operations Center.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Friday, the center said the number of injured had also increased to 8,094 since the aggression began on March 2. The statement highlighted that Israeli forces continued to carry out airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon, in what it described as ongoing violations of a US-brokered ceasefire.
The report added that multiple regions in the south were also hit by artillery shelling and additional air raids, further exacerbating the situation in the conflict-affected areas.
