Khan Yunis: Five Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured on Monday after Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Israeli artillery also shelled the southern areas of Khan Yunis, while heavy gunfire was also reported across the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, a fisherman was injured after Israeli forces opened fire on fishing boats in the Mawasi area of Rafah. In northern areas of Rafah, the Israeli army also demolished several residential homes.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has resulted in 50,933 Palestinian fatalities-most of them women and children-and 116,450 injuries, according to preliminary tolls. The number is expected to rise, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble or lie in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and rescue teams.
