The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has issued a press release today announcing the launch of a women’s leadership program in collaboration with HEC Paris Business School, one of the world’s leading institutions in executive education, which will be held this year in Paris from October 21 to 25.
The program aims to empower women and develop the capabilities of promising women leaders to enhance their leadership performance and achieve excellence in the digital economy.
According to the release, the program is a strategic step to qualify leaders who can contribute to building advanced skills and strategies to keep pace with the changes in the digital economy. It will provide a comprehensive blend of leadership development, innovative thinking, and practical experience in emerging technologies. This program will help build effective leaders to guide the digital economy transformation in the Kingdom and enhance their role in building a thriving digital society, digital government
, and a prosperous digital economy.
According to MCIT, the participants will be able to strengthen their leadership skills to a high and distinguished level, contribute to preparing for new leadership positions, and build effective relationships in the work environment. The program will also help develop an innovative approach to be applied to work teams, enhance awareness of the use of emerging technologies, and stimulate innovation within organizations, which will contribute to improving the leadership presence and preparing a new generation of leaders capable of expanding the horizons of the Kingdom’s digital economy growth and contributing to building a more inclusive and prepared society.
The ministry noted that the program targets 30 women leaders from the private sector’s distinguished national cadres with leadership aspirations. The participant must be currently employed in the technology sector with more than six years of experience. Applicants must also commit to completing all program requireme
nts and stages, including providing a letter of approval from their employer after final acceptance.
