Istanbul: HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari held a series of bilateral meetings with HE Minister of Economy and Finance of Italy, Giancarlo Giorgetti; HE Chancellor of the Exchequer of the UK, Rachel Reeves; and HE First Vice-President of the Government of Spain and Minister of Economy, Trade and Business, Carlos Cuerpo Caballero.
According to Qatar News Agency, these meetings were convened on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG), taking place in Washington DC from April 13-18. The discussions spanned a range of financial and economic issues, highlighting current regional and international developments and the challenges these pose. The agenda particularly emphasized matters of mutual interest between Qatar and the three countries involved.
