Riyadh: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Ibrahim Alkhorayef commenced today an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, with the aim of enhancing cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors, and exploring joint investment opportunities between the two sides.
Alkhorayef will meet with several ministers and senior officials in the Dutch government, as well as a number of private sector leaders, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation, exchange experiences, and review the investment opportunities provided by Saudi Arabia in the industrial and mining sectors.
The minister of industry will also conduct several field visits to Dutch factories and companies operating in the industrial and mining sectors, with the aim of encouraging partnerships between the private sectors in the two countries.
The volume of the Kingdom’s non-oil exports to the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 2023 amounted to about SAR 2,65 billion, while the volume of the Kingdom’s non-oil imports from the Netherlands
reached SAR 8,48 billion.
