Doha: HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani conferred on Thursday with HE Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management of the Syrian Arab Republic Raed Al Saleh on the sidelines of the conclusion of the Joint Trilateral Exercise in Urban Search and Rescue.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, they discussed the close fraternal relations and existing partnership between the two brotherly countries, along with ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in the fields of emergency and disaster management, capacity building, and training. The discussions aimed at supporting efforts to develop response and preparedness systems, enhancing the utilization of the State of Qatar's advanced expertise in this field, and serving the common interests of both countries while meeting the aspirations of their leaderships.
