Doha: The Ministry of Justice has established an office for the registration and enforcement of judgments related to real estate at the Supreme Judicial Council building in Hazm Al Markhiya. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s strategy to make services more accessible to the public, enhancing real estate services and streamlining procedures for stakeholders.
According to Qatar News Agency, the new office is dedicated to providing registration and enforcement services for final judgments concerning real estate issued by competent courts in the country. This ensures transactions are completed swiftly and accurately within the legal framework. The establishment of this office aligns with ongoing efforts to improve services for beneficiaries in the real estate registration and documentation sector.
Amer Saeed Al Ghafri, Director of the Real Estate Registration Department, highlighted the significance of the new office, which is a result of coordination between the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Judicial Council. This collaboration aims to offer judicial services to citizens and beneficiaries with ease and convenience. Al Ghafri emphasized that clients now have access to all necessary services related to real estate judgments at the new office, eliminating the need to visit the Ministry’s main building.
Al Ghafri also mentioned that this initiative is part of broader measures to enhance the performance of the real estate registration sector. A new security version of the usufruct certificate has been launched to improve document security and protect against forgery, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. This step enhances the reliability of real estate procedures and the quality of services provided.
To support digital transformation, the Department has introduced electronic usufruct services via the SAK application for smart devices. This development aims to streamline procedures, expedite operations, and improve service efficiency and user experience. The digital ownership of the title deed and usufruct certificate can now be accessed via the application, allowing owners to download them directly to their smart device wallets.
Al Ghafri welcomed the public and clients involved in real estate registration and execution transactions to visit the new office at the Supreme Judicial Council building. He encouraged communication with the Department through available services on its official accounts and digital platforms for any inquiries or questions.
