Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange 30 Index closed Thursday at 5,289.69 points, marking an increase of 37.6 points or 0.72 percent compared to the previous trading session, which stood at 5,252.12 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the total trading value reached OMR 43,532,833, reflecting a decline of 37.4 percent compared to the previous session's value of OMR 69,557,451. Despite the lower trading volume, the market capitalization rose by 0.165 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately OMR 30.60 billion.
The value of purchases by non-Omani investors amounted to OMR 4,512,000, representing 10.36 percent of total trades, while the value of sales by non-Omani investors reached OMR 2,315,000, or 5.32 percent. Consequently, net non-Omani investment increased by OMR 2,197,000, accounting for a 5.05 percent rise.
