Muscat: Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi spoke Tuesday with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss the recent developments unfolding in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, during a telephone conversation, Al Busaidi and Rubio exchanged views on efforts to de-escalate tensions and contain their implications. They also discussed creating conditions conducive to moving ahead with diplomatic endeavors and addressing pending issues to support regional security and stability.
Both sides conferred on a range of regional issues of mutual concern, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in promoting peace and addressing the challenges faced in the region.
