Over 20 Palestinians Martyred in Occupation Airstrikes in Gaza

Gaza: More than 20 citizens, including several children, were martyred early Wednesday in Israeli occupation airstrikes on various areas in the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported that 11 citizens were martyred and 13 others were injured when a home on Al-Nuzha Street in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip, was targeted.

Five citizens, including three children, one of whom was an infant, were also martyred when Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the city of Deir al-Balah, located in the central Gaza Strip. In the southern region of the Gaza Strip, four citizens were martyred and others were injured during an airstrike on a home in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Yunis.

Additionally, three citizens were martyred in a bombing of a house in the Ma'an area, south of Khan Yunis. The Israeli occupation forces also executed a demolition operation against several buildings west of the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have initiated an aggression against the Gaza Strip, which has led to the martyrdom of 53,573 citizens, the majority of whom were children and women. Furthermore, 121,688 others have been injured. These figures are preliminary as many victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
