Gaza City:A Palestinian was killed and another injured in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the attack involved an Israeli drone targeting a group of residents in the Al Mawasi area of Khan Younis. This strike resulted in one fatality and one person being wounded.
Earlier in the day, several Palestinians sustained injuries from Israeli strikes in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood and Al Shati refugee camp in western Gaza City.
Since October 7, 2023, the death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has reached 74,016, with 175,068 people reported injured, as stated by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
Despite a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel coming into effect last October, Israeli forces have reportedly continued to breach the agreement with ongoing airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire across the Gaza Strip.
