Doha:The State of Qatar has expressed strong disapproval of the recent military actions targeting Ethiopian federal forces, highlighting these actions as a significant threat to Ethiopia's unity and sovereignty and the broader security and stability of the Horn of Africa.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Sunday urging an immediate halt to the military escalation and hostilities. The statement emphasized the importance of protecting civilians and adhering to the Pretoria Peace Agreement.
Furthermore, Qatar reaffirmed its complete support for initiatives aimed at reducing tensions in Ethiopia, advocating for the resolution of conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means.
