Palestinians Injured in Occupation Forces, Colonists Attacks in West Bank


Jericho: Two Palestinian youths were injured on Saturday evening by Israeli occupation forces east of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, one by live gunfire and another as a result of physical assault. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its teams responded to two injuries near the Al-Mashrou area east of the city. One of the victims sustained a live bullet wound, while the other suffered a head injury due to beating. Both were transferred to hospital for treatment.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli forces had set up a military checkpoint east of Jericho, where they opened live fire at civilians and assaulted several others. Meanwhile, the city of Tulkarm saw heightened military activity by the occupation forces and deliberate provocations toward residents. Local sources said that Israeli military vehicles stormed the main streets and residential neighborhoods of the city, obstructing the movement of vehicles and pedestrians.



Additionally, several Palestinians were injured in an attack by colonists on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah. Local sources indicated that dozens of colonists attacked the town from its eastern entrance and attempted to storm it. Residents confronted them, resulting in several minor injuries among the citizens.



The Israeli occupation forces also raided the village of Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah. Local sources said that the Israeli army entered the village, firing tear gas canisters toward residents’ homes. No injuries were reported.
