President of Egypt and Qatari Prime Minister Discuss Regional Developments and Bilateral Relations

Cairo: HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met in Cairo with HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. The meeting took place as part of the seventh session of the Qatari-Egyptian Joint Higher Committee, with the Qatari Prime Minister leading the State of Qatar's delegation.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, HE the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings and well-wishes of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE President El-Sisi. In response, HE President El-Sisi reciprocated with warm greetings to HH the Amir, expressing his wishes for health and happiness for HH the Amir and further development and growth for the Qatari people.

The discussions between the two leaders focused on regional developments, with an emphasis on diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions and promote security and stability across the region. The leaders also addressed the current situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, exchanging views on various regional and international matters of mutual interest.
