Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Engages with French Counterpart on Strategic Dialogue

Paris: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Jean-Noel Barrot, during the third Qatar-France Strategic Dialogue in Paris. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and exploring ways to enhance collaboration in various sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions also included an exchange of views on recent developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as other shared concerns. The leaders highlighted the significance of an upcoming high-level international conference in New York, which will address the peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution.

Both sides underscored that the New York conference presents a critical opportunity for peace and emphasized the necessity of leveraging this platform to advance the two-state solution.
