Doha: HE Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met today with HE Secretary-General of Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub, who is currently visiting the country. The meeting focused on discussing bilateral cooperation and exploring avenues to enhance these ties, as well as reviewing developments in Gaza, the occupied Palestinian territories, and various subjects of joint interest.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated during the meeting the State of Qatar's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause. He emphasized the importance of ending divisions and strengthening Palestinian unity to secure their legitimate national rights, particularly the establishment of an independent state based on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as the capital.
