Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araghchi. During this interaction, the two officials discussed ongoing mediation efforts between the United States of America and Iran, alongside the latest developments in Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s commitment to supporting all initiatives aimed at de-escalation and reaching a comprehensive agreement. Such an agreement is seen as a means to enhance security and stability, contributing to lasting peace in the region.
