New york: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in discussions with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Aragchi, during the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Iran, as well as the latest regional developments, particularly in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories. The discussions also covered several issues of joint interest.
During the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions through dialogue and peaceful means.
