Hosted by Qatar from Sept. 20 to Oct. 2, the draw placed the host team, Qatar, at the top of Group A, alongside the UAE, Oman, and Yemen, with Iraq topping Group B, joined by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the draw, the eight teams were structured into four levels based on global rankings, with Qatar and Iraq in Level 1, UAE and Saudi Arabia in Level 2, Bahrain and Oman in Level 3, and Kuwait and Yemen in Level 4.
The championship is braced for an intense competition among these teams ahead of the future preparations for both the continental and international contests for young teams. The event is one of the most consequential football milestones organized at youth category in the Gulf region, which substantially contributes to upscaling talents and contests among those Gulf squads within a joint vision that supports football among young people.
